Our Love Story

Our story is proof that sometimes the best things in life come from perfect timing.

We first met back in 2017 during the KKNK festival in our hometown—a time when everyone returns home for the long weekend and lifelong memories are made. Introduced through mutual friends, we somehow disappeared together for nearly two hours. To this day, neither of us can remember exactly where we went, but we both remember flashes of dancing, endless laughter, and an effortless connection.

Life then took us in different directions. We went on one date a few months later before going our separate ways. Ella spent the next few years living overseas, while Jannick continued building his life in Cape Town.

Then, in 2020, when the world seemed to stand still, fate quietly brought us back together. Whether it was coincidence, perfect timing, or a little bit of magic, reconnecting felt like picking up a conversation we'd never truly finished.

From that moment on, everything just clicked. We've shared adventures, supported one another through life's seasons, and built a love rooted in friendship, laughter, and choosing each other every single day.

Now, we're so excited to begin our greatest adventure yet, and we can't wait to celebrate it with all of you.
